Volunteer Op; BOOK RELEASE - Paula Simons interviews local authors!

Next week we have the Edmonton Journal hosting an event at CKUA and we need your help welcoming the guests and also with set-up and tear-down...

Thursday November 28th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm
We're looking for 4 volunteers to set-up and take-down some chairs and tables on the main floor and also a couple of whom that might enjoy greeting the guests for 30 minutes as they arrive. You'll of course get to sit-in and enjoy the program (5:00 to 7:30pm) while you're here....


Paula Simons from the Edmonton Journal will be interviewing the following local authors about their upcoming books:

   Todd Babiak-
His new book “Come Barbarians” is a murder mystery. Babiak is author of 4 previous books, including “The Garneau Block” and “Toby: A Man”
   Michael Hingston
“The Dilettantes” is a novel about life at student newspapers. Hingston is also the Journal’s Books Editor.
   Ryan Cormier-
“Thugs , Thieves and Outlaws” is a true crime book about historic Alberta crimes.
   Jana Pruden-
The Journal’s crime bureau chief, her newest book is also a true crime book more focused on Saskatchewan crime cases.
