Hello CKUA Volunteers,
I hope you are staying warm as the temperature dips to a chilly and uncomfortable place this week. Often February is the time of year that we start thinking (actually hoping) winter will end and spring will start making itself known to us soon!
William James (American philosopher and psychologist) once said "In the dim background of our mind, we know that we ought to be doing something but somehow we cannot start"
That is sort of how the end of winter feels. You can sense the change coming, but it isn't here yet and it is very frustrating.
Here is a quote that will help you remember that spring will come and, with it, a release from the cold, windy, extra-layers of sweaters existence you've plodding through for the last couple of months!

Winspear Presents- ESO Masters Beethoven's Pastorale Symphony
Date: Saturday, February 22, 2014
Time: Performance starts at 8 pm, volunteers to be there by 7:30 pm.
Volunteer Requirements: 2 volunteers, banner only.
